Now it’s possible to subscribe to a newsletter primarily aimed at contractors. <\/span><\/address>\n

We, the members of the Extended Metro Administration, think it is important to keep you continually up-to-date on how work is progressing on the new metro. It is the largest investment in public transport since the 1970s.<\/span><\/p>\n

The newsletter will be published around two to four times a year. Between publications, current information will be available on our new website.<\/span><\/p>\n

Would you like to be a part of expanding Stockholm County\u2019s metro? <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Procurements for expanding Stockholm County\u2019s metro begin soon. Stockholm\u2019s new metro will be one of Sweden\u2019s largest subway projects in the coming years. Before the new metro can be taken into operation, around 3,500,000 m\u00b3 of rock will have to be blasted and 200,000 m\u00b3 of concrete cast. It is estimated that the task of extending the subway by twenty kilometres, building ten new stations and refurbishing two existing stations will be completed by around 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n
